ICHEI visited Ningxia University to discuss further cooperation

LI Xing, Secretary of the Party Committee of Ningxia University, introduced to the delegation of UNESCO-ICHEI the development plan and achievements of the university in discipline construction and talent training. He hoped that UNESCO-ICHEI and the Collaborative Innovation Center for Arab Studies Jointly Sponsored by Provinces and the Ministry of Education (Ningxia University) would expand cooperation areas, leverage their respective professional and technical advantages, and continue to support the innovation and digital transformation of higher education in developing countries. He expressed his hope that UNESCO-ICHEI could further establish a broad and multi-channel talent cooperation mechanism with the government of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, share human resources and effectively promote the deep integration of industry, academia and research.

Prof. LI Ming, Director of UNESCO-ICHEI, introduced the team and flagship projects of UNESCO-ICHEI. He expressed that UNESCO-ICHEI hopes to deepen the cooperation with Ningxia University, leverage Ningxia University's distinctive disciplinary advantages and teaching and research resources, and strengthen cooperation and exchange in the areas of higher education innovation, Arabic language, China-Arab cooperation in joint research and knowledge production, and jointly build a high-level think tank platform.
In March 2021, on the occasion of the visit of a delegation from Ningxia University to UNESCO-ICHEI, the two sides signed theStrategic Cooperation Framework Agreement between UNESCO-ICHEI and Collaborative Innovation Center for Arab Studies Jointly Sponsored by Provinces and the Ministry of Education.The two sides will build on the solid foundation already in place by signing an agreement between the UNESCO-ICHEI and Ningxia University to deepen and implement cooperation.
On 19 August 2021, the International Centre for Higher Education Innovation under the auspices of UNESCO (UNESCO-ICHEI) delegation visited Ningxia University to discuss further cooperation.
